“Pinaalam ko po ‘yon sa misis ko. Sabi ko ‘medyo madugo. Brace yourself ‘pag nakita mo ang pelikula. Sana hindi ka magalit. Sana okay pa rin ang relationship natin,'” quipped Teddy Corpuz when asked how he told his wife about his kissing scenes in the Alex Calleja comedy flick “Papa Pogi,” where he plays lead.
The frontman of Rocksteddy is hopeful that his launching movie will interest people into watching it in the big screen, starting March 20.

“Papa Pogi” presents to us the concept that while we all want love, looking for someone we want to spend our life with is not an easy task; and sometimes, there are choices that we have to make toward finding love.
This is the premise of the latest comedy movie by Regal, and which also Donna Carriaga, Myrtle Sarrosa, Joey Marquez, Lassy, Nonong Ballinan and Dawn Chang as well as Hashtags members Nikko Natividad, Zeus Collins, and Luke Conde.
“Sa pelikula, isinumpa ang pamilya nila Joey ng isang chaka girl na magkaka-anak sila ng puro pangit kapag nag-asawa sila ng magagandang babae. Ang inaasahan lang ng pamilya na makakaputol ng sumpa ay si Teddy na kailangan makapag-asawa ng chaka girl, na character ni Donna,” Direk Alex explained.
This is the directorial debut of Alex, who is known as a stand-up comedian, host, actor, former creative consultant of “It’s Showtime,” writer for “Goin’ Bulilit” and“Funny Ka Pare Ko.“ He is also one of the radio jocks of “Boys Night Out“ in Magic 89. (Report By Daisy Liezel Cuison)
