DAVAO CITY–“When you have a problem, just have faith and trust the Lord with all of his plans for you. Everything else will follow,” said TV host-actress Dianne Medina when asked how she is able to help fiancé Rodjun Cruz cope with the grief of losing his mom to cancer.
“It’s important that God is your foundation in everything that you do,” Dianne told Ripples Daily shortly after she cohosted the Go Pilipinas Go pep rally with Matteo Guidicelli at the SMX Convention Center of SM Lanang here.
Dianne and Rodjun had been dating for over 10 years before they got engaged. The actor’s mom, Beth, passed away due to pancreatic cancer in February.
Dianne was one of the 12 finalists of Wazzup Wazzup’s 2006 Tadjock Search. After winning the search, she became a regular segment host of the satirical comedy news program and appeared as a guest host of Studio 23’s morning news and talk show, “Breakfast.”
In 2007, she was cast in the ABS-CBN sitcom, “Let’s Go,” directed by Bobot Mortiz. She was personally offered by Johnny Manahan to join Star Magic after her guest performance in the now-defunct noontime variety show, “Wowowee,” another show directed by Mortiz.
She made her film debut in the Star Cinema film “A Love Story.”
