“Magkaiba naman po kami ng kwento. I saw their trailer. Sobrang magkaiba ng atake at kwento. Pwede n’yo po panoorin pareho,” said actress Jessy Mendiola when asked for her reaction that her movie “Stranded” will battle with the film of her ex-boyfriend JM de Guzman in the box-office when they hit cinemas on April 10.
While Jessy has teamed up with Arjo Atayde in this romantic-comedy by Ice Adanan, JM is paired with Arci Munoz in “Last Fool Show.”
“Mas maganda nga na sunod-sunod ang pagpalabas ng pelikulang Pinoy kasi nga medyo naghihikahos na ang ating movie industry,” Jessy pointed out.
In the movie, Jessy plays Julia, who believes that there should be commitment in a relationship Meanwhile, Arjo is Spencer, a type of guy who prefers to be happy-go-lucky and would rather be without the demands of a commitment. This is the premise of the movie that made the characters relevant these days.
“Stranded” is written by Easy Ferrer and Jeps Gallon. Produced by Regal Films, it also stars Miko Raval, Mich Liggayu, Miggy Marty, Pinky Amador, Johnny Revilla and more. This is also the first movie of Gretchen Ho. (Report by Daisy Liezel Cuison)
