Pero hinihiling ko lang… Huwag lang po masyadong masaklap ang pagtrato sa kanila na umabot sa point na pinapatay na ang mga tao,” actor JM de Guzman shares his opinion on the campaign by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) urging broadcast networks to conduct surprise and mandatory drug tests on their talents.
JM underwent rehabilitation for substance abuse twice. Reports said that after nearly three years, JM “graduated” from the Self Enhancement for Life Foundation (SELF) rehab program.
His biggest break so far is playing the lead role as Gabriel Maglayon, originally played by actor Rico Yan, in ABS-CBN’s 2011 remake of “Mula Sa Puso.” He also played titular role in the soap series “Angelito: Batang Ama” and its sequel, “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto,” In 2018, he was cast as Barbie Imperial’s leading man in “Araw Gabi “
