“Nanonood talaga ako ng movies sa sinehan and also mga online streaming. These things we need to adapt to as well. Umiiba na rin ang panahon. We need to keep up with it,” said director Gino Santos when asked for his reaction to the idea that digital streaming is now threatening to kill the movie theater industry
“And when we do movies, it’s not the end of the world kung mag-flop ‘yan. There is always another platform for it sa digital. Kaya may iWant and other digital platforms, which I’m thankful for,” Santos said during a recent press conference to launch the new programs of Indigital Productions in the live streaming app, iWant.
Santos, along with fellow filmmakers JP Habac, Topel Lee and Lem Lorca, shared with reporters what they thought were needed in order to come up with good films.
