“Kung ang pag-waive ko ng talent fee ay ikagaganda at kailangan, willing naman ako,” said actor Richard Quan on Jan. 8, during the announcement of the finalists of the 4th Singkuwento International Film Festival held at Legend Villas in Mandaluyong City.
Richard Quan won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2018 ToFarm Film Festival for the movie “1957.”
Now he is back with another film, Nestor Malgapo Jr.’s “Kapayapaan sa Gitna ng Digmaan,” a historical drama in the midst of war. He potrays a Japanese guy named Yoshiaki Muto, who falls in love with a Filipino woman.
The 2019 Singkuwento Film Festival Manila Phillipines (SIFFMP) will be run from Feb.15 to 22 at the NCCA Theater in Intramuros, Manila.
Presented by MPJ Entertainment Productions, in cooperation with Asian Television Content Corporation, National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), and the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
